The exhibition avenues are fully open this week, and the MotoGB production team is tracking the key developments unfolding across the halls. Our camera crew has just completed a walkthrough of the Keeway pavilion, which stands out this year for its diverse approach to practical transport, encompassing accessible small-capacity geared bikes, progressive twist-and-go options, and low-slung custom cruisers.

The Main Event: Uncovering the Legend Reborn – Superlight 125

The sheets have just dropped on the completely updated Superlight 125 right here at the centre of the stand. Up close, the machine presents a highly defined layout, specifically around its 37mm upside-down telescopic front forks, low 740mm seat height, and a blacked-out single exhaust system, which shapes the modern custom cruiser character of the bike under the exhibition lighting.

Details

A look at the mechanical setup confirms a major technical leap forward: a brand-new 1-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve liquid-cooled 125cc engine paired with a 6-speed transmission and a slipper clutch. On-stand bench specs rate the performance at 14.7 cv of power at 9,500 rpm and 11.5 N·m of torque at 8,000 rpm, pushing right to the limit for A1-licence compliance while maintaining a nimble 145 kg dry weight.

The premium component package is highly impressive for its class, featuring:

  • Active Safety: Dual-channel ABS and a switchable Traction Control system.
  • Chassis & Braking: A massive 300mm front brake disc with a 2-piston caliper, 5-stage adjustable preload rear dual shock absorbers, and premium CST tyres (110/80-17 front, 130/90-15 rear).
  • Modern Amenities: A clean LCD dashboard, a digital gear indicator, a spacious 17.4L fuel capacity, and integrated dual USB charging ports (Type-A and Type-C).

Exploring the Pavilion Floor

The layout of the stand separates the machinery into distinct riding genres, giving visitors a direct look at the manufacturing and engineering directions of the brand.

Raw Urban Metal: Small-Capacity Geared Bikes

The geared segment is anchored by aggressive naked street bikes and rugged everyday commuters. These bikes are characterised by their nimble frames, accessible seat heights, and standard-setting ergonomics that feel instantly natural—making them a perfect fit for everyday riders and A1 licence holders.

The Next Wave: Twist-and-Go Mobility

The urban mobility category features Keeway’s latest generation of automatic scooters, from nimble city slickers to progressive maxi-scooters. These models pair sharp, aerodynamic bodywork and generous under-seat storage with fuel-efficient twist-and-go powertrains designed to slice through heavy city traffic with ease.

Low-Slung Geometry: Custom Cruisers

Briefly stepping back to the star of the show, Keeway's custom cruisers occupy the lower platforms on the pavilion floor. These models show a clear focus on traditional cruiser design, utilising relaxed foot-forward layouts, classic teardrop tanks, and a minimalist silhouette modernised by piercing full-LED lighting.
